Bill GoveWho was Bill Gove?

The Bill Gove Golden Gavel Toastmasters Club of Boynton Beach, Florida was named after Bill Gove, the legendary father of professional speaking. Gove (1912-2001) lived nearby and was an active member of the club.
Bill won every major speaking award in the industry, including Toastmasters International’s Golden Gavel Award.

Trained the world’s finest speakers

He helped establish The Bill Gove Speech Workshop, which today remains one of the most prestigious public speaking courses in the world. Through it, Bill trained many of world's finest speakers of the past 50 years.
The first president of the National Speakers Association, Bill was a riveting storyteller and a master of using dialogue.
His legacy lives at his namesake Toastmasters club.
